Hello, ya'll!

My name is Jacqueline, and I'm a simple kinda gal living a simple kinda life.  I'm a southern girl who happen to marry a northern boy.  We have 2 fantastic pupsters who travel the world by our sides- which is wherever the Army sends us. 

I'm a certified pediatric nurse with a love for crafting, making delicious new dishes, and obsessing over basketball (let's go Wolfpack!)- I'm either very happy or very mad during the month of March.  I'm always explaining my southern idioms and thinking too practically.  I love the outdoors, all kinds of animals, and the smell of clean mountain air.  I laugh too loud, talk too slow, think too much, and have a firery temper when tested.

As of January 30th, I will be 30 years old (woo!).  Sure, it's just another year on this spinning planet, but my goal is to make it something more.  My 20's were fraught with trying to find my place in this world and discovering who I wanted to be.  As I bring in a new decade, my goal is to learn how to be a better wife, daughter, sister, family member, friend, and nurse.   

 

30 for 52 is exactly what it is-
I'll be 30 years old for 52 weeks,

therefore each week this year I will strive to: 

create something

do a deed for someone else

talk to my family more often

catch up with old friends
further my professional development
and find a way to be a better person in general
